The Benefits-Selection database and Web server are both physically located in a secured data warehouse. The Web server sits on a public Internet site and ensures your data is secure by using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. The database is housed on a physically separate server and is not accessible by the Web server.
SSL delivers server authentication and data integrity. Authentication is assured by use of a digital certificate issued by a certificate authority. A digital certificate verifies the connection between a server's public key and the server's identification. This means that when you connect with the Benefits-Selection website, you are assured that the server is Benefits-Selection and not an impostor.
